To kick start our celebrations for Foster Care Fortnight in May, Cheshire West and Chester’s foster carers were invited along to a tea party at The Cheshire in Upton to thank them for all their care and support to children and young people over the year.
There were refreshments with a fabulous array of delicious cakes and a popular raffle. This was an opportunity for foster carers to get together and celebrate the wonderful work they undertake in providing love, support and guidance to children and young people in their care.
Sophie Wales Head of Provider Services was present throughout and personally thanked our foster carers for their dedication. She presented foster carers with prizes from the raffle. Supervising Social Workers, Business Support and Fostering Support colleagues were also present to ensure that the event ran smoothly.
